Bedroom

My girlfriend has been asking when I was going to post photos on all the sewing projects I have started. Well here they are.

We recently moved Isaac into his new "big boy" room and he loves it. So instead of having to repaint two rooms we are leaving the nursery in the shades of green we already have. I am just changing the colors in the room to pink, brown and olive green. It is coming together really nice, but I've been busy sewing for friends, family and myself. Plus taking photos on top of all of this. At least Isaac loves to watch me sew and he is a big helper, so that makes it nice if I want to sew for an hour with him. Otherwise I sew while he is napping, at night, or whenever I can find time :)

I kept all the bumpers from Isaac's bed set, just added coverings to them with the fabric I picked out. I love it, it is fun, girly, not too babyish.

My wild blanket I made for her. It is a little busy, but fun!

I will take a picture of the room as a whole once decorating is done. These are picture holders I made that are placed in squares we built into the wall with Isaac's room design.

These are the wild crib sheets I made for the bedding. They were just too busy with the bumpers, so I'll use them when the bumpers come down and take more photos. I made two different sets of crib sheets with the material throughout the room. Right now we just have a light pink crib sheet on the crib. I really don't know why I even spent all the time to make bumpers we never left them on that long with Isaac.

Well I'll post more later, but this is why I haven't been blogging too much lately. Too busy sewing. I have to get all these "projects" done before she decides to come. We are on the 7 week countdown. Each week is just going by too fast!

Love the bedding - so cute. You did a great job! I don't know how you get all this stuff done.
