Isaac's "Doll"

Yes 2 posts in 1 week. When I walked into the scene below I just had to take some pictures. Friday it was snowing and Isaac was watching the snow build up on our roof right outside his window. Not only did he watch, but his favorite dinosaur.

He has never been a fan of the few dolls we have in this house, but he has bonded with 2 stuffed animals that he got when he was younger. 1 being a blue heart puppy he got from his aunt for valentines day. This is a $5 puppy he got when he was 8 months old. He has loved this puppy ever since. The next being a dinosaur more because it got him through the first month of the new day care. These two animals watch TV with him, sleep with him, and visit with him.

This is how I know 80% of the time Isaac is going to be a great brother. He L.O.V.E.S. these animals like people. Here he is giving dino a kiss.

Love this photo below. Making sure dino was up high enough to see out the window, facing the right way, and just visiting watching the snow fall. It was so cute!

This is what I found this morning. Sitting on the cough, watching cartoons, of course covered up. Covering up his animals could take up to 20 minutes to get it just right. I don't object, it keeps him busy and he is being loving.

Been awhile

Man it has been awhile so thought I would update everyone. I am finally at 30 weeks, yes!!! I was never this uncomfortable with Isaac this early. I also wasn't this big, but I guess I can make it another 10 weeks. I'm hoping it goes quick, yet slow . . . I still have a lot of stuff to get done :)

I have been busy sewing, sewing, sewing. I will have to post photos of all the blankets and bedding I've been making for the nursery. It will be cute once everything is done.

Below is a photo of Isaac and my niece. I hope our little girl has her eyes - they are gorgeous. Plus she has such a great personality. I get to watch her some Friday mornings here and there if her mom is teaching at preschool. It makes my mornings fly by as Isaac loves her and has a blast playing.

Below is also what we have been busy with. Painting Isaac's new room and getting him moved into a big boy bed. He has transitioned like a champion, no issues so far except falling out every once in awhile. He was getting out of bed too early, so we taught him to read a clock. Do NOT wake up mommy before it reads 7. It has worked and clocks are now his favorite thing.

Well I promise I'll be better. I really have just been busy with my crazy life - getting prepared, taking photos, having fun with an amazing little 2 year old who cracks me up every day. I will take more pictures and keep posting.

Oh we are also having a girl. That will be fun, so changing the nursery from blues to pinks. Nice change. At least I don't have to paint, the room was 2 shades of green and that is staying. Just changing all the accent pieces, so already missing out. Instead Isaac gets 2 new rooms, freshly painted. Isn't that what happens with the second child??
