Happy NEW Year!!!!

It is 2016... Do you know what that means??  It is the year of my 20 year reunion. This is going to be a great year though...I'm excited for 2016, see what our family has in store, and ready for a year full of fun with my kids and family.

Work is busy, sports are busy, and life is busy but that is fun right?!?! Today I'm purging my cupboards. I do this when I leave Alaska visiting my sister-in-law and seeing how organized her houses. I come back and organize, clean, and purge things I haven't used in the last 11 years of married life. I should have more space in my cupboards probably to fill with new stuff.πŸ˜œπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‰
Alaska was amazing we didn't see the sun much, but when I came out it was spectacular. The sun was in a location where a photographer would call it the sweet light. Right on the horizon with gorgeous shadows and coloring. It made the mountains, trees, and every activity sparkle.

Beautiful right?

For New Year's we had Christmas with my family. Celebrated Heidi's birthday and had fun with the Photo Booth. Below are some pictures of the kids having a great time enjoying photography. Can only hope I can pass on my love for pictures and capturing the moment. Here is to 2016… Enjoy!

Brinn is a natural.

I will try and be on here more often. We will see.

Manikins to Halloween. Caught up!

She loves manikins. I don't understand, as a child...I was scared of them. I would say with time they look better.  To her they can have heads, no heads, or be back from the 80s.

She always walks up and comments on there adorable outfit , asks how they have been, and even has married one ...Johnscene?  We don't know where the name came from but the is her husband. I think she is on to something, he never talks back πŸ˜‰

These girls were her cousins and she LOVED their outfits.

So we've been busy, soccer, flag football, family, birthday parties, and photo shoots galoure...so thankful for this wonderful fall, it has been gorgeous here.  Below are some photo to update everyone.
Beautiful wedding...Hadley sis to make it down the isle and then got the flu one hour later, that lead to the whole family getting sick...7 out of the 10 of us.  Thankfully I was one of the three not to get it.  Everyone was beautiful.

This weekend was last football game, fun Halloween get together, and a day of rest... We all need this  I love daylight saving. I get an extra hour!!

Another school year...1st grade!!

Yes it has been awhile...it's the first week of school and Isaac was way too excited. He loves it!  Yesterday he said the math was too easy, it feels like he is only at the YMCA for 3 minutes in the afternoons and ready for sports to starts.  Today is my last full day with Hadley on Friday...going back to 5 days a week...sad.  She is excited and they will be short days as I still want to pick Isaac ip from school. So onto photos. My kids. Love them!

So silly me, Donovan was out of town and I guess I love the outfit Isaac is in...he wore it last year for the first day of kindergarten, yes I bought it big, it is finally his size and I better not do this for school pictures.

This is Isaac from last year.

Her is to a great year and happy Labor Day weekend!

Vacation and exhausted

Yes our youngest is still sleeping. It was a long drive, many bathroom stops, and beautiful mountains. My sisters family went to Columbia falls area with us and the kids had a blast. Glacier park was only open for 14 miles, they finally got through the day we left...go figure. It was still a wonderful drive with lakes, hikes by Hadley, and bathroom breaks.

The human maze. If you ask the boys (Donovan,  Isaac, and Gage) you will still hear they tied. My team won though, we found the hard door out, we were down 2 stamps to 0, and came back to win!!  The boys will still stay it was a tie, even though they didn't find the hard door out - we did both stamp the last stamp at the same time, on different towers.  It was a fun night.

The water slides ... HUGE HIT !!  We were thinking 4 hours, but these kids went for 6 hours, had to beg for a snack, everyone left with blisters on our feet and hunger. It was a perfect day with the older kids going by together without an adult, we just had to rotate between the little peanut.

Goodbye Flathead and hello Crazy Mountains and family. I had a little reunion with cousins to celebrate my grandmas 80th birthday. It was a fun couple days with family while Donovan worked. Now back to work, getting up early, and busy evenings. It was a fun vacation!!

Happy 4th of July weekend everyone!

Great weekend

Three days with friends, baseball, golf, shopping, landscaping, and great weather enjoying the outside. It is not every year we get beautiful weather and we took full advantage of the sun and warmth. Donovan spent all day Saturday and half of Sunday cleaning up the yard from the hail storm. What a mess. Then I got a hair brained idea to finally clean up a planter and make it into a rock garden with low lying ground cover. A piece of our yard that has been calling my name for 3 years and finally done on Monday. It feels good.

We went from this below ...

To no grass and ready for fabric...
Oh and she was a lot of help...
To starting to come together...
To done. It is something different but hopefully no more grass!!!

Donovan is the lighting expert but my touches turn out very nice looking at night. At least he likes it.
Here is to probably one of the busiest weeks I have on my calendar. I can make it!!

April showers bring May ... Hail

I used to love hailstorms, thunderstorms, and rain showers when I was a child in the summers. I would love to see the storms move in and the lightning off in the distance usually followed by beautiful sunset. I've decided now that I'm home owner, car owner, and have scared children I'm not a big fan of storms. Our poor kitty did not want to stay inside while we were gone so she was caught in the huge hailstorm. Thankfully our neighbors across the street made sure she safely got across the creek, dried her off, and left a towel for her to lay on. Thankfully she is still with us, a little skittish to go outside, but she made it.

Our house whethered the storm well and no dents on my car. It could've been way worse as many people lost windows. The only thing I lost was all my flowers I planted this weekend.  Here is to a memorial day weekend full of yard cleanup, leaf blowing and getting ready for summer.

Fun and busy...

We had gymnastics see what I can do day. We have fun but maybe getting bored in class I don't know. Then off to a rainy baseball game. Loved the outfit!!

Today has already been crazy and it is only 3pm. Dance photos, practicing so hard all year long for a jazz and tap dance. Cannot wait to see the whole show. Love her teachers they are wonderful. Then off to another baseball game. I. Did so great. A ball doesn't go through him and he is really enjoying this season.  Papa had to help the princess with every sunflower seed, that kept her busy.

On the way home I told Isaac About his make up game. "What did you say, makeup game?" Yes you have a make up game this week.  "What does that mean I do NOT like makeup!!"  It is because the game was rained out so you will be making UP your game...smiles from the back seat.  And this is why I'm glad to be back!

Popcorn trees

The other day a while going to a family dinner out of the back seat we heard Hadley say "man I am loving all these popcorn trees around town." This is my favorite time of year too and we just laughed but it was such a cute quote.

Then the next Monday, on the way to pick up her brother she said I won't call them popcorn trees anymore. (Isaac was teasing her) I said why it is such a cute saying I think they look just like popcorn she said okay just the white ones the pink ones I'll just call the pink trees.

Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the "popcorn trees".  I'm hoping to get out and take some photos of the kids.  This is one of my favorite times. . .

So...it has been awhile... How are you?

I feel like a girl waiting to see a friend from years ago. Maybe my best friend from kindergarten... It has been awhile. Almost 4 years. I feel the need to start writing again. I don't know if I want this to be private for me, my family and close friends or just out there. Facebook has become so easy I don't really write. Just quick photos, sayings, and check in with friends. I think with technology this can become a great tool to jot down cute happenings, sayings from the kids, where I am ...

So this is the spot where you will find phone photos, videos, quick sayings and part of me...

I really do not know who even looks at this...anyone out there?  Send me a comment if you are ready for more updates, otherwise I'll talk/write to myself.  I already do that a lot anyway.

This hopefully will help in my end of the year scrap booking. Almost caught up, what a task.  My new saying is below...I am one lucky girl.
